Are you bringing home a new puppy?
Getting your home in order before the puppy comes home is so important. You can prevent life-threatening accidents from happening by puppy-proofing your home.
So what can you do to prepare your home for a new Iggy Puppy?
1. Make sure phone charging cords and any cord hooked up to an electrical appliance are put up.
2. Designate a safe area for your puppy. You can do this by buying a puppy playpen.
3. Pick up and small choking hazards.
4. If you have any expensive items or family heirlooms sitting on end tables. Make sure to relocate those things if they can easily be bumped and knocked over.
5. Make sure you have a size-appropriate kennel for your Italian Greyhound puppy to stay in when you leave. If they freely roam your home it can be dangerous for them.
6. We recommend removing your dog’s collar while they are in the crate. The collar can become caught in the crate.
